After Hours Ball
Built When It Matters Most
After Hours Runs is a Saturday night program reaching 40 youth weekly during the city’s highest-risk hours.
Each session combines high-level basketball with mentorship, life skills education, meals, and full support - using consistency to build discipline, mindset, and real pathways forward.
Supports included transportation, NBA-level basketball training, life skills education covering mental health, financial literacy, career development, confidence, and academics, as well as warm meals, hydration, and custom jerseys.

What We Do We combine athletics with real-world education and accountability: structured basketball programming with tracked attendance and performance metrics, mentorship from people who understand these environments, financial literacy and legal education, mental health support and life skills development, and meals, transportation, and resources to remove barriers.
More Than Basketball Basketball is the entry point — not the outcome. By tracking performance and showing measurable growth, youth take ownership of their development and learn how discipline compounds over time.
Why It Matters Many of the youth we serve lack access to critical knowledge — how money works, how systems operate, how to manage pressure and make decisions that shape their future. After Hours Ball fills that gap. Through consistent structure, education, and accountability, participants don't just show up — they improve, track it, and see what they're capable of.
Opportunities to Perform Throughout the year, youth showcase their development in high-level environments, including events at Scotiabank Arena — building exposure, confidence, and proof that their work translates beyond practice.
Impact 40+ youth engaged weekly. Performance and attendance tracked. Multiple annual showcases on major stages. A growing pipeline of youth building discipline, confidence, and real-world awareness.
